Unterstützung für den Norden - Support for the North

Mitte Mai hatten wir die Gelegenheit im Norden die Kinder und Jugendlichen sowie die Nähschule, die wir unterstützen zu besuchen. Wir konnten den Familien und einer kleinen Schule oben in den Bergen ein paar Säcke Reis und Bohnen geben.

Es gibt in Haiti viele Kinder und Jugendliche, die wirklich gern in die Schule gehen möchten, das können sie aber nicht, weil sie die nötigen Mittel nicht haben um Schuluniform, Schuhe, Hefte und Bücher zu kaufen. Wir suchen Paten, die uns helfen, dass die Kinder in die Schule gehen können. Eine Patenschaft beinhaltet Schulgeld, Bücher und Hefte, ein Rucksack, Uniform und Schuhe usw. Die Zukunft des Landes liegt in diesen Kindern, lasst uns in sie investieren.

In mid-May we had the opportunity to visit the children we support in the north, vocational school for women, a small school up in the mountains churches. We were able to give several sacs of rice and beans to families and also to schools to prepare meals for the students.
There are many children in Haiti and young people who really want to go to school, but they can not, because they do not have the necessary funds to buy school uniforms, shoes, notebooks and books. We are looking for sponsors to help us to support those kids to send them to school. A sponsorship includes school fees, books and exercise books, a backpack, uniform and shoes, etc. Those children are the future generation for Haiti, let us invest in them.

Wer meint, dass in einem Entwicklungsland das Leben billig ist, der irrt sich im Fall von Haiti gewaltig. Ja, Obst und Gemüse kann man auf dem Markt recht günstig kaufen. Aber wenn man etwas aus dem Supermarkt braucht dann bezahlt man für ein paar Sachen ein Haufen Geld. An alle, die bei Aldi, Penny, Kaufland usw. einkaufen gehen, rechnet mal nach, was ihr bezahlt. Sponsor a student!

Unsere Schüler müssen täglich eine längere Strecke zurücklegen, um ins Trainingscenter zu kommen. Nun haben zwei unserer Schüler Probleme das Fahrgeld aufzubringen, weil derjenige, der ihnen bis jetzt das Geld gegeben hat sie nicht mehr unterstützt. Auch die anderen Schüler haben immer wieder Probleme das Fahrgeld aufzubringen und müssen deshalb zu Hause bleiben. Wer möchte einen Schüler sponsern? Eine Patenschaft beträgt ca. 40 € pro Monat und beinhaltet Fahrgeld, 2 Mahlzeiten pro Tag, Schuluniform, Unterrichtsmaterial, usw. Für mehr Informationen sendet uns ein Email an wnh-info@arcor.de.

Our students need every day to travel a long distance to come to the training center. Now, two of our students have problems to raise the money for transportation, because the one who has given them the money so far, no longer supports them. The other students also have problems from time to time to raise the money for transportation and therefore they have to stay home. Who want to sponsor a student?
